Bachelor's degree or preferably masters degree from a top ranked institution
Minimum 1-2 years of work experience
Knowledge of principals, practices, methods and materials of legal research and analysis
Passion and interest in ICT and/or Corporate LawAbility to research legal issues and present a clear and logical argument and statement of facts and law
Strong communicator with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with corporate counsel and various internal customers
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to grasp quickly and accurately new and complex concepts and areas of law
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Ability to balance priorities and co-ordinate work effectively in order to meet deadlinesand deal with high workloads
Sound written and oral communication skills to give authoritative advice and influencecolleagues and external stakeholders
Dynamic and enthusiastic
Performs legal research in matters of ICT and/or corporate law that includes reviewing case files, drafting legal memoranda and preparing summaries on findings
Researches applicable law and analyzes cases cited by the parties and provides the senior lawyers with a recommendation for each motion
Assists in developing and updating documentation (including both external-facing information for customers, as well internal product requirements and other necessary support documents)
Performs a variety of tasks associated with all facets of case preparation
Conducts extensive research pertaining to matters related to a particular case
Checks legal forms for accuracy and makes reports
