Yasin Beceni is the managing partner of BTS & Partners. He advises clients on a wide range of commercial transactions including outsourcing agreements and other procurement arrangements as well as advising generally on contentious, non-contentious and transactional information and communication technologies and intellectual property law issues including information security, investments, privacy, new products and services, digital media, payment services, e-commerce. He also has significant experience on information society issues at a national and European Union level and in advising on ICT market legal risk analysis, product and services deployment and development in Turkish market, engagement strategies with governmental, academic and non-governmental institutions. He advises clients in drafting and negotiating ICT infrastructure and services contracts, joint venture/company agreements as well as agreements relating to acquisition of significant stakes in telecom and IT companies. Mr. Yasin Beceni's clients include multinational audit companies, technology services and outsourcing companies, NGO's, holding companies, telecommunications companies, financial institutions, software and hardware suppliers and other information society service providers.
He is the author of numerous papers on information society, intellectual property, regulatory risk assessment, innovation incentives and supports, privacy, e-government, cyber crimes, electronic signatures, information security, electronic commerce and e-contract, knowledge economy and trade practices issues and speaks regularly on e-business, IT outsourcing, information society, electronic and mobile signatures, information security and contracting issues. He also participates to the activities at a government, private, NGOs and academic levels such as conferences, trainings, conventions, seminars, councils, panels, legislation committees, workshops and strategy studies. Mr. Yasin Beceni is also part-time lecturer at Bilgi University, ICT Law Masters Program. He gives a lecture titled as "Information and Communications Technology Law Policies, Economic Affects and Practices_" to postgraduate level, LL.M. students of that Program.
Yasin has extensive knowledge and experience in data privacy and acted as the lead outside counsel to major Turkish and multinational entities for their data privacy compliance projects in Turkey. He also rendered cross border data privacy advise to Turkish entities having affiliates abroad.
He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2001; he completed his LL.M at Istanbul Bilgi University on Economics Law in 2005, and is admitted to Istanbul Bar Association since 2003.

Selin specializes in mergers and acquisitions as well as in corporate law, public procurement law, property law and employment law.
Selin is the lead partner in our Corporate Group, based in İstanbul.
She has over 15 years of experience covering the whole range of corporate and M&A work, including the incorporation of foreign-capitalized companies, conducting share sale transactions, asset sales, joint ventures, investment agreements and resolving shareholders' conflicts. She is also experienced in public procurement law, employment law and property law.
In recent years, Selin was involved in various mid-level private M&A deals and also represented clients bidding for major public tenders. She also advised one of the most prestigious venture capital funds of Turkey for its investments to various portfolio companies in ICT sector.
Selin's clients include top international players in various industries such as ICT, medical appliances, transportation, oil and gas, real estate and steel.

Merve pursuant with her dual background, pursues her career as a compliance analyst and a privacy professional at BTS&Partners in İstanbul. She specialized in Data Protection, Privacy, Business and System Analysis, Project Management and Compliance.
Merve is a Director on compliance at BTS &Partners, based in İstanbul.
Her practice covers all areas of data protection compliance projects. She leads the compliance projects as the project manager and supports the business development processes. She plans and pursues information gathering, business analysis, regulative assessment steps, she coordinates the communication between the clients and the internal legal teams. She specifically has an expertise in data protection and privacy field.
She studied applied mathematics and engineering during her undergraduate education in İstanbul Technical University and started her career as a business and system analyst. She then worked in one of the leading ISP companies as a compliance analyst and lead the compliance projects including the issues of data protection, customer rights, service quality, security issues. She has experience both in finance and telecommunication sector. She completed IT Law M.A. program at İstanbul Bilgi University in 2014 and wrote her dissertation on “A Controversial Protection Method on Data Processing: Data Anonymization”. She spent 2013-2014 fall term in Vrije University Amsterdam, Law Faculty as the exchange student during her postgraduate education.
She has a specific expertise in Privacy & Data Protection and holds European Privacy Certification (CIPP/E) of International Association of Privacy Professionals. She also pursues her role as the IAPP İstanbul Chapter Chair since 2015.

Kübra is a Senior Associate at BTS & Partners and she is one of the contact persons of the office for litigation.
Since 2012, she has been advising local and multinational clients in IPR contract negotiation support, eCommerce, Telecommunications, Contract Law, Employment Law and Consumer Law. However, she mainly presents litigation services in civil cases and criminal cases related to cyber crimes.
Kübra is specialized in consumer disputes and litigation and mediation and also advises clients on commercial transactions and conducting negotiations.
Her litigation experience covers a significant number of cases, in which she has represented clients before common courts, criminal courts, during mediations and in informal settlement talks.

Erdem advises on Turkish personal data protection and electronic communications law.
Erdem is a Managing Associate at BTS&Partners. He specializes in data protection and electronic communications law.
He works with both local and international clients in the Turkish telecommunications market. Besides advising on several projects with some of the most important communications operators in Turkey, he works with international operators on local regulatory compliance matters.
Erdem advises his clients on data protection matters and especially on conducting privacy impact assessments and drafting privacy policies. He also advises both local and foreign clients on business models which involve cross-border data flow especially the ones with the EU.
He graduated from the Galatasaray High School (2009), Galatasaray University, Faculty of Law (LL.B.) (2013) and has been a member of the Istanbul Bar since 2015.
He earned his European Privacy Certification granted by the IAPP and became a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe (CIPP/E) in 2016. He is currently studying at Galatasaray University to obtain his LL.M. degree in Private Law.

Melike specializes in information technology law including the law on personal data protection and privacy, electronic communications law and e-commerce law.
Melike works as an associate at BTS & Partners. She provides legal consultancy in data protection law and regulatory matters as well as conducting researchers in various fields of law.
Her legal services focus on data protection matters and especially data protection compliance projects and drafting/reviewing related privacy policies and documents.
Prior to joining BTS & Partners, Melike gained experience in contracts law, labour law, commercial law, health law, consumer law, intellectual property law, and litigation. During her previous practices, she also has given training to clients, colleagues, and apprentices in contracts law and employment law.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Marmara University in 2013 and has been a member of the Istanbul Bar since 2014. She also was an exchange student at Faculty of Law of Siena University for a fall term in 2011.
