I am a Legal Intern in the Litigation team at BTS & Partners, where I am involved in dispute resolution processes and assist with contentious matters, while also supporting work related to media and entertainment law. During my legal education at Koç University, I have developed a particular interest in dispute resolution and technology-related legal issues.

Besides litigation, I have gained experience in corporate law, data privacy, and competition law through my previous internships at law firms and corporate legal departments. My work has included legal research on relevant legislation and case law, as well as assisting in the preparation of petitions and supporting case-related processes. I have also contributed to legal assessments and review processes across different areas of law, which has strengthened my analytical approach and practical perspective.

As a legal intern at our firm’s Privacy team, I assist both local and international clients in various aspects of data protection and compliance. Prior to joining our firm, I gained practical experience in criminal, intellectual property, data privacy, corporate, and competition law through internships at leading Turkish law firms. During these internships, I conducted research on GDPR, KVKK, and data transfer frameworks, which have significantly contributed to my professional development and practical perspective at BTS&Partners.

My academic background in Law and International Relations at Koç University enables me to approach privacy and technology law from both legal and global policy perspectives.

Throughout university, I’ve always tried to combine law with my personal interests, which kept my approach to this field dynamic. Working on sustainability and technology based projects, founding start-ups, joining competitions, and presenting at international fairs gave me both business development skills and practice in framing these experiences legally.

In my internships, I focused on contracts, corporate law and intellectual property, while additional trainings deepened my knowledge in data protection, cybersecurity, cryptocurrency and IT law in general.

I graduated with a full scholarship from Istanbul Bilgi University, completing a double major in Law and Advertising. During my studies, I gained experience through internships in both Turkey and the United States, including at BTS & Partners. I also participated in the ISTAC Moot Court Competition, where I ranked fourth among the best speakers. Alongside my legal education, I worked for three years as a Content Editor at a leading advertising agency, which enhanced my multidisciplinary perspective. Following my summer internship at BTS & Partners, my interest in technology law led me to establish a student club in my university focused on the intersection of law and technology, where I served as the founding president for one year. Prior to starting my legal internship, I gained experience e-commerce, commercial, startup, and advertising law. I am currently pursuing training in AI Governance to better understand the legal and business implications of artificial intelligence and have recently started studying International Entrepreneurship at Istanbul University.
